Diana M. Carlino | Associate
Diana M. Carlino concentrates her practice in representing plaintiffs in the areas of civil rights, employment discrimination and personal injury. Ms. Carlino is also assisting Mr. Krouner in a LASIK case in Colorado, Czarniak v. Mathew Chang, M.D., in which it is alleged that the defendants entered the wrong numbers in the surgical laser. A consumer fraud claim is also brought based on the allegedly false promise of 20/20 vision, and being the preferred LASIK provider to the Colorado Avalanche and Indianapolis Colts professional sports teams.
Ms. Carlino received her Juris Doctor degree from Pace University School of Law in 2009. While a student at the Pace University School of Law, Ms. Carlino worked as a paralegal for Laub & Delaney LLP, a plaintiff’s personal injury and medical malpractice law firm in White Plains, New York. Ms. Carlino also worked at the Law Office of Ronald A. Markowitz, in Armonk, New York. In addition to her professional obligations, Ms. Carlino completed an internship with the Westchester County Board of Legislatures, and volunteered for the American Red Cross as a grant writer. Upon graduation, Ms. Carlino worked as a paralegal for the New York State Office of the Attorney General.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Carlino worked as an executive in the Human Resources Department of Fortunoff, a large jewelry retailer. While at Fortunoff, Ms. Carlino was actively involved in the hiring and training of new associates.
Ms. Carlino received her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Vermont, in 2003, where she had a double-major in sociology and political science.
Ms. Carlino is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Connecticut, and several federal courts. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Westchester County Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association.
Ms. Carlino is an avid skier.
